Hyatt Place Topeka

Hotel was clean, room was nice with fridge, microwave, and couch seating. Bed area was a little tight to get in and out of beds on one side. Breakfast was nice. There was no decaf coffee in the lobby. I didn't ask, they may have had some in the back. Quiet location on a weekend. Overall a pleasant stay for one night and would stay again.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms were very clean and much larger than I expected, which made the stay very comfortable. The staff was also very accommodating and allowed me a late check-out, which I really appreciated. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was overall very pleasant. The room was spotless and the bed extremely comfortable, ensuring a great night’s rest. The room we were assigned was spacious and well-kept, which added to the comfort of our stay. The only downside was the bathroom — it was quite small and felt a bit uncomfortable. However, this minor inconvenience didn’t stop us from enjoying the overall experience. There are two areas that could be improved: the scrambled eggs and the coffee at breakfast. The eggs had an unusual taste that wasn’t very pleasant, and the coffee was served cold. Addressing these two points would significantly elevate the breakfast experience and make the stay even more enjoyable.

Small bathroom was the only problem. The wife and I stayed on the top floor king size bed. We thought the bed and pillows were comfy

We had some work being done at our home and needed somewhere to go for about 6–8 hours. The Hyatt Place was the first place that came to mind, and I’m so glad we chose it! They offer a day stay option, which is incredibly convenient when you don’t need an overnight stay but still want a safe, clean, and comfortable place to relax and meet your basic needs. The hotel is currently undergoing some remodeling, so if you plan to visit soon, just be patient—they currently have one elevator in service, and it looks like the other is under maintenance. Our first room on the second floor was clean, but the AC wasn’t working—it was blowing warm air. Since there wasn’t a phone in the room, I went to the front desk. The attendant was very helpful and immediately had maintenance check it out. They confirmed the issue and quickly arranged for us to move to a new room on the fourth floor. That room was cool, clean, and comfortable. I also want to mention how thoughtful the front desk attendant was—he personally brought the key to our new room and allowed us to stay in the first room until the other was ready. I really appreciated that, as I wouldn’t have wanted to sit in the lobby with my family and two pugs. They are also pet friendly, which was a huge plus for us. If you’re ever in need of a short stay—whether for home repairs, a quiet workday, or just a few hours away—I highly recommend Hyatt Place’s day stay option. It was exactly what my family (and our two pugs) needed. A special thank you to General Manager Jhailyn Johnson—she was professional, caring, and very understanding of our situation. The entire staff, from the GM to the front desk and housekeeping, were all so kind and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Place in Topeka and overall had a comfortable experience. The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast could use some improvement. The selection was nearly the same each day, and the eggs were consistently overcooked. While I appreciated the convenience of having breakfast included, variety and attention to preparation would go a long way. Despite that, I would consider staying here again for the comfort and service. With a few tweaks to the breakfast offering, this hotel could be an even better choice for travelers.

Convenient location right off the interstate yet very quiet! Comfortable mattress/bedding, large TV, spacious room. Convenient check in and decent breakfast. Excellent value for the price in my opinion. Would definitely stay here again on another cross country road trip.
